I have created several self initiated design briefs for book design. Books of different genres from educational to classics. Book covers as well as pages.  I’m currently developing this part of my portfolio and adding more designs.

This illustration was prompted by @folktaleartweek and the prompt was “TRAIL’. I decided to create some characterful, mischievous little pixies who have given some poor, unsuspecting people, the wrong directions. ‘Pixie-led’ is the name of this piece. This illustration was created digitally in procreate.

What will you find? This is a self initiated project created using collage, marbelling, inks, bleach and digital enhancement. I also sold this as a print but here I have designed it as a seaside activity page perhaps for a coastal tourist centre, for a children’s magazine about rock pools, or a picture for a story book.
