The client requested a 1920s style mural for their dining room. Imagery ideas were provided by the client, however I did more research into 1920s dress and dance moves for an accurate interpretation.

The theme was importance of education, growth and worship. The brief was set by those within the community at Crosland Moor who run and work in the centre. I depicted the imagery and words from the brief with Van Gogh inspired brushstrokes as I love how they flow and give depth to the space.

The client’s daughter requested a colourful and bold, contemporary patterns with flowers and dogs! I was very pleased with the outcome as was the child! Created using acrylics, emulsion and poscas.

The theme was Dennis the Menace and Gnasher…I took an image from the Beano and projected it on this very high ceiling bedroom wall. I added the child’s name to the brick wall and the idea was for the child to add more graffiti style paintings to the wall over time. I painted it using acrylics and emulsion.
